The Meaning of Existence

The One, the Unique, the Creator—

the One who created the entire universe.

My first post was titled “La Ilaha”, and upon seeing it, many may have thought,

“Oh, here comes another Islamic sermon or lecture!”

So let me clarify:

my blog is for people with open minds—

those who reject all forms of prejudice, whether based on color, race, religion, sect, language, or gender.

For those who believe that all human beings are equal.

Reflect upon your own creation.

Examine yourself.

Ask yourself: Why did your Creator create you?

If the Creator has created everything with a purpose, then what is the purpose of your existence?

So begin the search.

It is a universal truth that everything will one day perish.

So many of our loved ones are no longer among us, and one day, we too will leave this world.

Before that day arrives, why not understand why we were born?

What abilities do we possess, and where do we fall short?

If we have abilities, how can we use them in a way that brings peace and benefit to other beings?

And if we have shortcomings, should we merely mourn them?

Should we work to overcome them?

Or at the very least, ensure that our weaknesses do not harm us or lead us to hurt others through jealousy or resentment?

The power to choose lies with us.

Recognize your inner abilities, refine them, and use them selflessly to bring peace and comfort into the lives of others.

Be a source of mercy, not a burden.

If you have been blessed with gifts, do not misuse them to cause pain or turn someone’s life into suffering.

Choose your profession and path according to your abilities.

No work is inferior—this is merely a societal mindset, and we cannot change everyone’s thinking.

So set such thoughts aside and move forward, step by step, toward your destination.

As some read this post, they may think:

“What does she know? What does she understand?”

“We are ordinary people struggling day and night just to survive and earn a living.”

Believe me, I belong to that very same class of people—those who endure these struggles daily.

After living fifty-five years of life, I now reflect on whether I truly used the abilities I was created with.

The Creator also blessed me with the ability to write.

So I decided to use it—to encourage people of my own age,

and to pass this message on to the generations that follow:

Rise. Tie your belt of determination. Why are you afraid?

Indeed, the power of choice has been given to you.

The Creator has endowed you with unique abilities.

Now it is up to you—

will you spend this short life merely eating, drinking, and seeking pleasure,

or will you become a purposeful individual who brings peace to others through your abilities?

The choice is you
